Cell Phone Policy

Mountain View Guidelines  

Upon entering the classrooms students are to silence and turn in their devices to the designated area. 

It is up to the discretion of the classroom teacher to provide a class break and to permit cell phone use during the class break.  

Students are not permitted to access their cell phones during instructional time.

Charging cell phones during instructional time is prohibited. 

Cell phone use is also prohibited in the hallways, library or in the restrooms during instructional time.  Students’ cell phones must remain in the classroom, in the designated turn in area, for the entire class period.

Students are permitted to use their cell phones during lunch.
