Art

In Art and Computer Graphics Classes at Mountain View students will develop expression, critical thinking and problem solving through the production of their own art as well as through analysis of other’s work. Students will be exposed to a wide range of appropriate media and techniques, and they will come to understand these methods and media not as an end in itself, but as a means to personal and cultural expression. Students explore a wide range of art media and develop skills in materials appropriate to their class, such as drawing, painting, computer graphics, printmaking, video, performance, and 3-D media. Students expand and refine knowledge and skills in the area of art production, conceptual development, visual literacy, and art history.
