Course Selecting for the 2025-2026 School Year
Mountain View's Course Catalog - Grades 9-12
Graduation Requirements: First Time Ninth Graders in 2018-2019 and Beyond | Fairfax County Public Schools
Academic Advising Timeline:
Students select courses for the next year during the academic advising/course selection process which takes place February through Mid March every year. School counselors will meet individually with their assigned students to assist them in exploring their academic and postsecondary/career goals. During these meetings, students review their transcripts and select their courses for next school year. Students and parents may access student course requests through SIS Parent Account. Please review the courses your child selected and contact your child’s counselor if you notice any errors.
Students who are residents of Fairfax County and 18 -22 years old can directly enroll at Mountain View High School. Students who are 17 years of age or younger will need to work with their current school counselor to discuss placement and request a referral to Mountain View.
