On Wednesday, October 12, tenth-grade and eleventh-grade students enrolled at Mountain View High School will take the PSAT/NMSQT exam. Students are automatically registered and no further action by families is needed. All 10th and 11th-grade students who report to school on Wednesday, October 12th will take the PSAT at no cost to families.
All FCPS high schools will operate on a two-hour early release schedule. FCPS transportation is available for all students participating in the PSAT. Regular bus routes will be provided in the morning and after the early release. Students should arrive at school between 7:50 and 8:00 AM, the normal school arrival time.
All FCPS students have access to Khan Academy’s free online test preparation. The Khan Academy website also offers general test preparation tips. In addition, students can practice using the PSAT Practice Tests. College Board’s link to the 2022 PSAT Student Guide. Directions on how to access scores and score release dates are published by College Board via the College Board website. PSAT/NMSQT scores will be added to the Student Information System (SIS) Test history by the end of the first semester.
